Microsoft announced the release of yet another game in the series. The new title is Age of Empires: Castle Siege. It will be available for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 touchscreen. The game is expected to be released in September.
Age of Empires is a series of strategy released for both computers and portable consoles. Its first title was Age of Empires in 1997. The series has been very successful over the years and now fans have a reason to celebrate.
THE Microsoft announced the launch of yet another game in the series. The new title is Age of Empires: Castle Siege. The game was developed by Smoking Gun Interative and will be available for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 touchscreen. The game will be multi-platform, you can save your progress playing on PC, tablet or Windows Phone, as long as the operating system is the Windows 8. It will also be possible to make alliances with your Xbox Live friends.
According to the game’s website, you will have several civilizations to choose from. Castle Siege starts with six civilizations from the Medieval Era. It will also be possible to recreate famous historic battles like the siege of Marienburg and the fall of Constantinople.
We can see that some objectives of the game will be: to build a fortress, to prepare defense to keep our territory safe and to create an army to invade the enemies!
A preview of the game could be watched yesterday at 5 pm, Brasília time. The developers played live on the Age of Empires Twitch channel.
