After much speculation, Adamo shows up (but only shows up)

After commenting on MacMagazine about rumors of the new Adamo notebook, Dell finally unveiled its new ultra-light notebook during the Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas. However, its presentation was nothing more than its design, with no details revealed about what the notebook really offers in performance.

Following the same black look with silver details as the Dell Studio XPS, Adamo really comes to compete with the MacBook Air, with an extremely thin 13-inch LCD screen. In addition, it is part of a new line of notebooks that emphasizes "handmade precision". At least that is what Dell executives say.

At the event, Dell countered rumors suggesting that the laptop would be available soon after CES – at most, until February, with the possibility of a postponement -, and said that the novelty should be on sale "in the first half of this year". In the end, the event only served to give journalists a preview of the announcement.
