Affinity Photo is the first truly professional and fully featured photo editing tool for iPad – built from the same backend of our award winning and fully optimized computer version to take advantage of the power of the iPad’s hardware as well as its touch capabilities.
Highlighting the creation of layers and the incredible range of brushes and filters, the application has support for multiple touches and Apple Pencil, a unique level of precision in selecting items and applying effects in real time. Several tutorials teach the many features of the app, which is only compatible with newer iPads and requires no subscription.
If your concern is support for file types, relax! The app opens from Adobe Photoshop files to the most diverse types of images (PNG, TIFF, JPG, GIF, SVG, EPS, EXR, HDR, PSD and PDF), in addition to being compatible with their respective versions for macOS and Windows .
