Adyta offers an application developed in Portugal that guarantees secure communications for companies and individuals

The COVID-19 pandemic is dictating the adoption of the telework strategy in many countries and Portugal with the exception. However, the move to remote work poses some challenges when it comes to cybersecurity. Hackers have taken advantage of the most fragile moment to try to attack the data privacy of users, companies and even the World Health Organization.

Adyta, the spin-off company from the University of Porto specializing in cybersecurity, wants to help maintain the security of organizations' communications and, therefore, makes its secure voice communication application available during the crisis period in the on-cloud mode .

The application was developed to protect communications from malware attacks and encryption flaws, and was launched last year and is now available for free.

Adyta.Phone promises the highest level of protection for mobile communications, protecting all transport and operator-independent VoIP-based data calls with authenticated encryption.

The company claims that calls made through Adyta.Phone are not susceptible to mobile network threats, such as attacks by IMSI and SS7 pickups. The application allows you to make calls on various types of networks, including 2G / EDGE, 3G / HSDPA, 4G / LTE and Wi-Fi

In addition to eliminating the costs of national and international calls between mobile devices, since all communications are routed through the device's data connection, Adyta.Phone promises low data and battery usage, without degrading voice quality.

Adyta.Phone is available for both Android, in the Play Store, and for iOS, in the App Store.
