Adventure game Little Orpheus enters the Apple Arcade catalog

(Almost every) Friday is a new day in the Apple Arcade! ?

Developed by The Chinese Room and published by Sumo Digital, Little Orpheus is an adventure game with horizontal scrolling that takes place in a futuristic space environment.

It is 1962, and NASA wants to take a man to the moon. In a far corner of Siberia, a Soviet cosmonaut is heading in the opposite direction. Comrade Ivan Ivanovich is thrown into an extinct volcano inside the Little Orpheus exploration device to explore the center of the Earth. And it disappears immediately.

Three years later, our comrade reappears claiming that he saved the world. But he also lost the atomic bomb used in Little Orpheus’ engine. Then he is taken to an extremely secret bunker under the Ural Mountains to be questioned by the sinister General Yurkovoi, a man so frightening that even Stalin himself would not try to befriend him. The general rolls up his sleeves, looks at Ivan with a glare and says: “Well… where have you been, comrade? And where’s my bomb? ”

And Ivan, looking deep into the general’s eyes, replies: “Well, general, maybe you don’t believe what happened to me, but what happened was this…”
