Adult magazine sues Microsoft for including images and links in search results

Sapo opens laboratory at the University of Aveiro

Sample of links and images of illegally reproduced content from the Perfect 10 website in MSN search results led the company that specializes in pornographic content and the publisher of an adult magazine to sue Microsoft, similarly to what it had already done with Google and Amazon.

The target of the lawsuit is Microsoft’s MSN image search system that reproduces icons of images and content owned by Perfect 10 and also links to sites that copy the images without paying royalties.

Perfect 10 also claims that through MSN you can get links to sites that provide passwords who illegally give access to the company’s pornographic content services.

The lawsuits against Google and Amazon had been launched by Perfect 10 in 2004, focusing mainly on the display of small images representative of those found on the company’s website.
