Adobe Systems presents two new solutions for those interested in editing and sharing photos and videos. Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows is a new version of Adobe photo editing software and Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 for Windows is a new option for digital video editing with self-adjusting workspace and support for all types of video and DVD customization.

Photoshop Elements 4.0 aims to offer greater editing ease with the new Magic Selection Brush, which allows users to select specific parts of photos through easy coloring, light adjustments and contrast. The Magic Extractor, which removes parts of photos, the correction of skin tone with a single click and Face Tagging, which allows consumers to save photos instantly with the new ways of searching and viewing, are some of the features present in this solution.

Focused on video, Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 passes the footage from the film to the computer, automatically finds all footage on the tape, separates footage into scenes and presents them ready, in order, for editing. The new Media Downloader allows customers to download videos from a wide variety of non-DV devices, from unprotected DVD discs and set-top recorders to MPEG-4 videos from mobile phones and digital cameras.

The two products are now available in the national market in packages, with an estimated price of 151.25 euros, and can also be purchased separately, costing 100 euros each.
