Adobe Opens Photoshop CC Beta Entries for iPad

No more surprise than the Photoshop reach for the iPad; The announcement, made last October, certainly cheered up users who prefer to use Apple's tablet over professional computers.

At that time, Adobe said the software would be released sometime this year. Well: In recent days, subscribers of the Creative Cloud support have received emails from the company inviting them to join the testing program Photoshop CC for iPad.

Anyone wishing to apply for the Adobe program must complete this Google form (you must enter your name, email address, and provide a brief explanation of why you are interested in testing the beta version).

Unfortunately, details about the release of popular iPad editing / authoring software are still unclear. You can sign up for beta today, but there is no indication of when (or if) you will even be invited.

Adobe announced Photoshop for iPad during its conference Adobe MAX, which took place last October in the city of Los Angeles (California, United States). According to the developer, Photoshop on the iPad will be similar to the desktop software version, with all the same toolbar options and features.

Real Photoshop is coming to the iPad so you can create something unrealistic. All your familiar desktop tools and workflows are at your fingertips, from retouching and compositing to recovery and blending modes. Layers? They are all here. Resolution? No difference. Your PSDs are exactly the same regardless of whether you are working on your desktop or on top of a mountain.

The iPad version of the app also allows projects started on the iPad to be continued on the desktop and vice versa. According to Adobe, Photoshop for iPad uses the same code base as computer software, without compromising power, performance or editing results. Looking forward to it?
