Lightroom is now divided into two softwares. Lightroom Classic is the desktop application already known to the public. It gained some improvements mainly in terms of overall loading speed. Adobe has announced that version 6 is the last that can be purchased without a subscription. It will also no longer receive updates with new features.

Lightroom CC is Adobe’s cloud-based photo organization solution. The system features a redesigned interface, with new scrolling options and simplified adjustment tools. The difference lies in the synchronization between the devices. That is, when a change is made it is automatically saved on all devices with your Photoshop account registered in the cloud.

Like Google Photos, Lightroom CC now also uses artificial intelligence. Through Sensei – an algorithm developed by Adobe itself – the software can automatically tag people or places, making the automatic organization of photos more efficient. The proposal is that little by little the artificial intelligence is inserted in other apps of the Creative Cloud.
