Adobe launches new versions of products for the audiovisual area

Adobe Systems Incorporated is launching on the market a set of five new products for the audiovisual area that, according to the manufacturer, introduce a new concept of integrated production and post-production work, with new features and new working environments.

Export to Flash Video, and pre-defined professional animations are the highlights of version 7.0 of the tool for the production of graphics with motion and visual effects Adobe After Effects. The new version includes a unique and renewed user interface, OpenGL 2.0 support for high-fidelity sound and export capabilities in the Flash Video (FLV) standard, Adobe says in a press release.

Adobe After Effects 7.0 is available as a single product or as part of Adobe Production Studio, which is also part of the new set of products now released. The estimated price for the full version is 1,571.70 euros for the Professional edition and 966.79 euros for the Standard edition. The estimated price of the upgrade is 289.19 euros and 724.79 euros, respectively, for updating the Standard version and the Professional version.

THE software for mixing, editing, mastering and retrieving digital audio Adobe Audition 2.0, another product in the new package presented by Adobe, includes, in the full version, a low frequency mixing engine, the ability to record parameter changes in real time and new tools for audio visualization and frequency space editing, according to the manufacturer.

Like After Effects, Adobe Audition 2.0 is available as a single product or as part of suite Adobe Production Studio, in the Premium edition. The estimated price for the full version is 422.29 euros, while the upgrades cost 156.09 euros.

In addition to the completely redesigned interface, version 2.0 of software Adobe’s professional DVD producer, Adobe Encore DVD, now out, «makes the disc creation process simpler» while «improving productivity with the Slideshow Editor», guarantees the manufacturer. Among the novelties introduced with the new version are also an infographics options window.

Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 has an estimated price, for the full version, of 422.29 euros, when the upgrade costs 180.29. Adobe Encore is also available as a component of the Adobe Production Studio Premium edition.

The latest version of the software video editing, the new Adobe Premiere Pro 2, allows publishers to work with the latest digital formats, including HDV, HD and Flash Video, boosting productivity and providing a high degree of creativity control, says the manufacturer.

The estimated price for the full version of Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 is 1087.79 euros, when the price for the upgrade starts from 289.19 euros. Adobe Premiere Pro is also available as a component of the Premium and Standard versions of Adobe Production Studio.

In addition to the new After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition and Adobe Encore DVD, suite Adobe Production Studio, another of the solutions integrated in the «package» that Adobe made known, includes the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Adobe Production Studio also includes support for the Flash Video (FLV) standard.

Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio is available either individually or as part of the Adobe Video Bundle. The Standard edition of Adobe Production Studio is also available combining the Adobe After Effects Standard, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop applications with Adobe Dynamic Link. Estimated prices are 2,055.79 euros for the Premium edition and 1,329.79 euros for the Standard edition, excluding VAT. The Adobe Video Bundle combines Adobe Production Studio and Flash Professional 8 for an estimated price of 2,781.79 euros.
