Adobe Systems published its financial results for the fourth quarter of this year, which ended on 28 November. During that period, the company achieved record turnover. Shantanu Narayen, the company’s president and CEO, explains that «despite the difficult economic environment of 2008», Adobe was able to «achieve record profits and double digit growth for the sixth consecutive year».

As such, the company’s accounts show that a turnover of 915.3 million dollars was achieved, exceeding the 911.2 million reached in the same quarter of the previous year and the 887.3 million recorded between June and July 2008.

The results obtained in the fourth quarter were slightly above the preliminary billing level estimated by the company, which is between 912 to 915 million dollars.

Now, for the first quarter of fiscal 2009, Adobe plans to reach a turnover of 800 to 850 million dollars.
