Adding a location to Google Maps from your computer

Adding a location to Google Maps from your computer

Google Maps allows any user to collaboratively add locations to make the neighborhood or city map more complete. It is possible to include residential buildings, commercial establishments or any public reference point that facilitates navigation on the map. In addition, the user can add photos and information such as the exact address, phone number and website to make the registration detailed.

To perform the inclusion, which can also be done by cell phone, you must be logged in with a Google account. The initiative is part of the Local Guide project, Google’s rewards program in which the user gains a reputation in exchange for contributions to Maps. Check out the tutorial below on how to add a new location to Google Maps from your PC.
