Apps for editing photos and videos are on the rise lately, and every day there are several on the App Store. A very cool one is Vimo, which has a very simple feature but it can make your videos very fun. The name is the junction of Sawdeo + Motion Stickers, which are animated stickers. With it you can add a huge variety of stickers, from funny eyes or eyebrows to cat whiskers, butterflies, clouds, etc.
The interface is very simple and straightforward – despite being in English. When opening the app you must select the video source, and you can use the camera to capture a moment or import any video from the Camera Roll.
With the video open, you will have a “+” button to add a new picture, and the timeline just below. When you tap the button to add, the sticker gallery opens. There are several categories, including emotion (emotion), sea (sea), garden (garden), and the coolest, “funny” (funny). Now just choose the animation and color you want, then make the finishing touches of position and size by tweaking the arrow icon.
But then let’s say you want to add a cat mustache to your friend, but he is moving the image. What’s up? Simple, tap the picture and notice that a finger button appears next to the add button. There you will move the figure along the screen, and that same movement will be reproduced along with the video. With that you can put a boat passing, and, especially, accompany people or anything else that is moving.
In the timeline you control the duration of each animation, and touching the figure’s thumbnail allows you to delete it or change the color. Now that your video is ready, just export it. The app offers options to save to the Camera Roll, post to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, or even the standard iOS sharing dialog – to save to Dropbox, for example.
The app is free, but with some limitations. It is only possible to add two figures per video and only 3 categories are released. Through in-app purchases, you can purchase an individual sticker pack for $ 0.99 each or unlock all features for $ 4.99 – around 15 reais. In addition, without unlocking all the functions, the exported videos have the application logo on the footer, but nothing too intrusive.

The only problem is that the interface is all in English. However, as most interactions are done through icons, this does not get in the way of using the app.
