The process of acquiring video projectors for schools in the 2nd and 3rd cycle had a new advance with the approval of the Court of Auditors of the international tender for the acquisition of equipment.
In a statement, the Office of the Technological Plan for Education underlines that the approval will ensure that the equipment reaches the classrooms during this academic year, as planned.
The international public tender in question aimed at supplying, installing, maintaining and supporting help-desk for the 28,711 projectors that will equip the schools, in an investment of 14.7 million euros.
The procedure was one of three launched last year to reinforce the schools’ equipment park. The acquisition of new computers is another aspect of action, as well as the acquisition of interactive whiteboards. In these cases, investments were 70 and 9 million euros, respectively.
