Acer introduced the new professional notebooks from the TravelMate line. The devices are supported on AMD Turion 64 X2 platforms and privilege details that favor the device’s portability and simplicity of use, guarantees the company.
In this sense, Invilink nPlify technology was introduced in this TravelMate series, a wireless mobile that guarantees new advantages in terms of connectivity and performance of data, video and voice applications. Invilink nPlify supports the technology wireless Acer SignalUp and is compatible with standards 802.11 a / b / g / draft-N.
Computers also include SignalUp and Acer Video Conference technologies, made up of webcam Crystal Eye and Bluetooth VoIP or Xpress VoIP phone, depending on the model.
Differentiating between devices, the TravelMate 4520 and TravelMate 5520 were designed with Small Office Home Office in mind. These laptops make use of the advantages of processors dual-core It’s from chipset ATI M690G. Among the technical specificities of these models, the 4GB DDR2 memory, the storage up to 250 GB – protected by the ACER DASP + solution -, DVD-Super Multi optical drive double layer and card reader 5-in-1.
Acer also states that «the TravelMate 4520, TravelMate 5520 and TravelMate 7520 guarantee productivity and flexibility for the professional user who will be able to choose between the 14.1», 15.4 «and 17» TFT LCD monitors with support for Acer GridVista technology, managed via ATI Radeon X1250 with HyperMemory up to 896 MB – 256 MB dedicated system memory, up to 640 MB shared system memory -, support for Microsoft DirectX9 and PCI Express or through ATI X2400 Graphics Cards, depending on the type of configuration «.
This range of notebooks comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Basic or Windows XP Professional Edition. They also include some software additional features like Acer Empowering Technology Acer GridVista, Acer Video Conference Manager, Microsoft Office Ready 2007, Adobe Reader, CyberLink Power DVD, NTI CD-Maker and Norton Internet Security.
