Acer plans to open an office in Portugal and form a local team to ensure a better definition of local strategies – guaranteeing current growth levels – and to maintain a closer relationship with the partner network.
«So far we have always looked at Portugal from Spain, but we are committed to forming a team of local human resources. We are in a time of globalization but each country has its identity and its language and that is a very important aspect», he explained to TeK António Papale, in an interview that we published during the weekend.
The direct presence in Portugal will allow the company to adapt its channel programs and reinforce its focus on segments where it maintains a less significant presence in the Portuguese market, such as monitors, the official said.
