Android is coming to PCs with Acer
Android is now being used on PCs!
This week Acer, one of the world's top-selling notebook companies, was surprised to announce its new All-In-One PC, the so-called AIO DA220HQL, features Google's mobile operating system, Android, as its default operating system.
Among as many options as Windows 8, Ubuntu or other Linux distribution, Acer has bet on the modified Android x86 for its Hardware to have a totally new experience on the device, which is not at all modest.
It features multi-touch display and 21.5 inch 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, Intel Core i5 4430 3GHz quadcore processor with 6MB cache and the new integrated HD 4600 GPU with 1 or 2GB DDR3 RAM and a SSD 8 GB or 16GB.
It should be sold in Europe for 400 Euros, about 1100 reais, not one of the cheapest options on the market but one of the most interesting for sure, since even if you don't want to use Android you can install another Linux distribution.
