Acer introduces new multimedia notebooks to the Portuguese market in April

Continuing to bet on design as a differentiating factor compared to the other ranges of notebooks that it produces, Acer today presented its two new bets, the Aspire 8920 and Aspire 6920.

With the two new notebooks, the manufacturer intends to promote the HD PC concept, which includes several exclusive features and an innovative interface. Both the Aspire 8920 and Aspire 6920 are part of the Gemstone blue series, where certain exclusive style features are highlighted, such as the cover with the three-dimensional holographic brand logo, the Enlightener power switch, access to various technologies through DiamondBlack eKey button and NeoWeave wrist rest.

Both devices have Full HD LCD screens with 1080p resolution, so they are «suitable for viewing high definition content». Blu-ray is the preferred format in both models, both compatible with the standard defended by Sony.

The Aspire 8920G line features Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 640GB disk, 18.4 inch Full HD CineCrystal LCD screen and 16: 9 widescreen. This series integrates TV tuner for digital television and Bluetooth VoIP phone.

As for the Aspire 6920 line, processing capacity is also ensured by Intel Core 2 Duo processors although the built-in disk, in this case, is 320GB. The models in this line include a 16 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Both models integrate six speakers with Dolby Home Theater technology, subwoofer of 10 watts integrated and a CineDash multimedia console, a touch interface that allows the user to touch control of all the media functions of the notebook.

These models will be available in the usual retail chains from the third week of next month. Prices will vary between 1199 euros for 16 inch models and 1799 euros for 18.4 inch models.
