Acer boosts sales and wins second place in the global PC market in EMEA

The demand for Acer equipment led the brand to increase its sales volume, which translated into an annual growth of 12.3 percent in the PC market in the EMEA region, data from Gartner show.

The pace of growth was 37.1 percent, three times the market’s growth value, which allows the company to settle now in second place in the market. ranking for the market in question, occupied until now by Dell.

Acer recorded positive values ‚Äč‚Äčin the segment of portable computers in the same region, having grown 40.2 percent compared to the third quarter of last year. Currently, the company‚Äôs market share in the EMEA stands at 20.9 percent.
