Access the Material Design version of YouTube

In addition to applications for Android and its own mobile platform, other Google products will also be incorporated into the design language developed by the company, such as Chrome and YouTube.

While Chrome is due to receive the new layout over the next few weeks, the search engine has not yet provided dates for its video portal to receive the new visual identity.

However, a Reddit user seems to have found a trick that advances the process – at least for those who use YouTube without using a login.

Here’s how to do it:

1) Go to https: www.youtube.com/? Gl = US

2) Open Chrome “Inspect” (ctrl + shift + i)

3) Access the `Resources´ tab and delete the“ VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE ”cookie within the YouTube domain

4) Enter the ‘Console’ tab and set the “VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE” cookie with the following command:

document.cookie = «VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE = Qa1hUZu3gtk; path = /; domain = .youtube.com»;

5) Reload the page

Once the process is complete, you will see YouTube with this new layout:
