Accenture takes over Microsoft EMEA business process management

Accenture recently signed a five-year agreement with Microsoft for the outsourcing business processes of the software company. Under this agreement, the consultant will take over Microsoft’s credit and collection services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a region called EMEA, namely in the processes associated with receipts and collections from corporate clients.

The value of the agreement has not been revealed, but the outsourcing de BPO also includes support for Microsoft’s credit analysis processes, as well as customer data management and information processes.

The service will provide support in 15 languages, including Portuguese.

According to a statement, the contract is materialized by Accenture Finance Solutions, an Accenture business area that provides financial and accounting services to companies and public administration through outsourcing.

Microsoft already provided information technology support and consultancy services to Microsoft in Dublin, maintaining an agreement for more than 15 years.
