Accenture joins the list of Apple business partners

Apple already has business partnerships with big names such as Cisco, Deloitte, IBM and SAP. Today, one more is joining this list: Accenture.

The companies today announced a partnership aimed at creating innovative iOS-based business solutions within selected units of Accenture Digital Studios around the world (starting in San Francisco, California), which will have Apple experts working in loco.

"Starting ten years ago with the iPhone, and then with the iPad, Apple has transformed how we work, but we believe that businesses have barely begun to explore what they can do with our products," said Tim Cook, Apple CEO. "Both Apple and Accenture are leaders in building incredible user experiences and together we can continue to truly modernize how companies work through sensational solutions that can tap into the incredible capabilities of Apple technologies."

Here is the statement by Pierre Nanterme, president and CEO of Accenture: “Based on our experience in developing mobile apps, we believe that iOS is the superior mobile platform for business and we are happy to enter into this partnership with Apple. By combining vast digital capabilities and expertise Accenture's industry leader with Apple's market leadership in creating products that delight consumers, we are in a perfect position to help our customers transform the way they work. ”

Apple and Accenture intend to jointly launch toolkits and services that will help corporate customers transform how they interact with their consumers using iPhones and iPads. The experts involved will include visual and experienced designers, programmers, architects and data scientists, as well as hardware and software designers.

More details about the partnership can be found on both the Apple and Accenture websites.
