Discover the two biggest international events in the game development industry, Game Connection America and Game Developers Conference (GDC) and the 26 Brazilian companies that will be there!
Game Connection America is the largest fair for game developers in the Americas.
This international event offers the opportunity for professionals in the gaming industry to interact, expand their network and promote their products.
The event has been held since 2011 and this year will take place in the city of San Francisco (USA), on March 14th to 16th.
It is clear that Brazil could not be left out and marks its presence at the fair with the largest Brazilian delegation in the history of the event, according to Abragames (Brazilian Association of Digital Game Developers), there will be 80 entrepreneurs from 26 national companies.
Abragames organizes the action through the Brazilian Game Developers Export Sector Project (BGD) in a partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).
BGD is a non-profit program whose objective is to strengthen the Brazilian digital games industry, enabling and creating new business opportunities for Brazilian companies in the international market.
Apex-Brasil, on the other hand, has the mission of developing the competitiveness of national companies, promoting the internationalization of their businesses and the attraction of foreign direct investments.
As occurred in 2014 and 2015, Brazil will have a central stand at Game Connection America with all 26 participating companies.

The entrepreneurs, from 26 Brazilian companies from various regions of Brazil, represent different segments of the video game business chain, such as game developers, digital stores and various service providers.
Game Connection America happens in parallel to GDC (Game Developers Conference), which features developer conferences that stand out in the game market worldwide.
āThis year we will have representatives from Brazil also at the GDCā, highlights Eliana.
The GDC is the main forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals and others involved in the development of interactive games come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry.
The forum has more than 400 lectures, panels, courses and round tables on a wide selection of game development topics taught by leading industry experts.
Arthur Protasio, creative director of Fableware, will participate in the panel āThink and Write in Other Languagesā at GDC along with other industry veterans, such as Crytek game designer Fasih Sayin and Pawel Miechowski, senior writer at 11bit Studios, creator of āThis War of Mineā, best game at the BIG Festival 2015.
The panel takes place on March 14, 2016 from 11:20 am to 12:20 pm.
Another highlight is the indication of Bad Minions through the game āAlkimyaāFor the Best Hardcore Game and Best Hardcore PC Game and Console categories of the award Game Connection Development Awards.
It is the only Brazilian company in the dispute.

Carlos Estigarribia, executive of the newly founded Leela, the first Brazilian publisher of mobile games, will take two games to promote abroad and has a full schedule of meetings with developers from the United States and Europe, to get to know the work offered there.
THE Aquiris, which marks its presence at the international event, was also featured at Brasil Game Show 2015 (BGS) with its game, Horizon Chase.
The game is āa modern take on 90s games.
It was inspired by games like Out Run or Top Gearā.
Horizon Chase is now available on App Store, Google Play and will soon be available for PS4 and PC.

Abragames, following the tradition of previous years, will organize a Happy Hour within Game Connection from 6pm on Tuesday, March 15.
This year, the event moved to AT&T Park (Willie Mays Plaza, 24).
Free transfers will depart every 5 minutes from the Moscone Center.
