The complement EasyBib Bibliography Creator, which is available for Google’s Office «free of charge, gathers technical formatting standards from around the world, including the most used in Brazil.
So, just search for the edition of the book or file for which you want to create a quote and the the application will automatically generate the correct model, the extension also organizes its references in alphabetical order by the author’s name.

First use: installing EasyBib on Google Docs
Step 1.
With a document open in Docs, select the «Add-ons» tab at the top of the screen and then click on «Install add-ons»;

Step 2.
In the pop-up that will open, use the search bar to search for the EasyBib extension.
When you find it, click on the «+ Free» button to add it to Docs;

Step 3.
To work, the add-on will ask for some permissions.
Click «Allow» to grant them.

How to create references in ABNT with EasyBib
Step 1.
The previous procedure is only necessary for the first use.
After installation, the extension will be permanently available on the «Add-ons» tab.
To use, just click on it;

Step 2.
By default, EasyBib is configured for the MLA (Modern Language Association) formatting style, widely used in North America.
Click on the «Style» button and search for «Brazilian Association of Technical Standards to change to the ABNT style, the most popular in Brazil;

Step 3.
Choose if the text you want to quote is a book; journal article or Website; search for the title or author and select the edition you are using;

Step 4.
EasyBib will automatically organize the publication citation in the ABNT rules.
To add it to the document, just click on the «Add Bibliography to Doc» button;

Step 5.
If you add other publications to the references, EasyBib will organize them in alphabetical order of the surname of the main author, as required by the rules.
