The idea is to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19 with the new feature, since it avoids the need for users to interact with each other. The function is available in the app for Android phones and iPhone (iOS) for 99 passengers when starting a race.

The identification card is automatically available on the 99 app for the passenger when ordering a trip. To access the function, just touch the blue balloon to the right of the cell phone screen, which indicates the message «suggested identification during the pandemic».
The next page will display the passenger information that is provided to the driver to identify him and start the race. Then, the user must approach the place where the driver parked to pick him up and display the smartphone screen to pass the data.
The purpose of the tool is to minimize the interaction between passenger and driver, to avoid contagion of the new coronavirus. However, the use of the feature is not mandatory in the application.
