72% of business computers infected with malware

According to Panda Security, 72 percent of companies and 23 percent of individual users have their computers infected with malware, applications designed to infiltrate equipment, without consent, through spyware or Trojans.

These percentages were taken from a global analysis of a base of more than 1.5 million users, from which it was concluded that security solutions are no longer effective enough to keep computers protected from external threats.

The situation is essentially related to the fact that new, more elaborate threats appear daily and the lack of updates to the protection products installed in the equipment.

In the end, the sum of the two factors means that users end up exposing themselves to situations in which they can lose their personal data, see their identity being stolen online or lose money on malicious scams.
