61% of Portuguese people read news online

More than sixty percent of Portuguese people use online media, although in parallel they continue to consult traditional media, reveals a new study by A HREF = «http://www.novadir.pt/» TARGET = «_ blank»> Novadir.

Novadir’s «Observatório News» shows a regular information consumption rate online 61%, being during the week that the online media present their greatest expression.

About 75% of respondents say they currently consume more Internet than two years ago, reflecting the growing importance of this medium.

“The daily presence of traditional media remains and the consumption of all types of average it develops in a transversal way, (…) in spite of the fact that there is a strong dynamism of the Internet as a means of consumption ”, says Novadir.
