The materials include free classes and courses on content such as computers, law, administration, preparations for Enem, among other subjects. Most of the resources are available in Portuguese. During quarantine, Udemy released dozens of free courses for those who are at home and want to study. The online classes focus on the computer area and cover everything from advanced programming techniques to teaching technology to children. In addition, many teachers on the platform have also decided to make their classes available for free. For this reason, other content – about finance or communication, for example – is also available free of charge in the app.

Udemy has not announced a deadline for free resources. Most of the courses are in Portuguese and are aimed at beginners. The application is available for Android and iPhone (iOS), but it is also possible to access the contents in the web version. To register, you can sign in with a Gmail or Facebook account. Users registered at Stoodi can study for the National High School Exam (Enem) with video classes and free exercises released by the platform. The gallery consists of more than 5,000 video classes and 30,000 exercises on Natural Sciences, Human Sciences, Languages ​​and Codes, Mathematics and Writing. Temporary access will be available for 30 days and may be extended if schools continue with suspended classes.

Stoodi can be downloaded on Android and iPhone (iOS) phones for free. To enter the app, you must register with name, cell phone, email and password. It is also possible to login with Facebook. After that, users have access to the home page with the subjects covered by the platform. When you click on one of the articles, you can see the entire grid of content available. Users can still download their favorite video lessons for later consultation.

In addition to offering job openings, LinkedIn also has a professional training app: LinkedIn Learning. Due to the isolation time against the coronavirus advance, the platform released the course «Remote Work: Collaboration, focus and productivity» free of charge for all users. The video content has ten units on teamwork, interpersonal communication, time management, among other subjects. There are more than ten hours of material.

The LinkedIn app is free and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the App Store. To access the content, the user must register on the platform, which also has a website version. The target audience of the course are people who are in the home office regime. You can attend classes in sequence or choose one of the topics to study in isolation.

4. Casa do Saber On Demand

In the Casa do Saber On Demand application, it is also possible to take courses and classes online for free during the quarantine period. Casa do Saber is a physical cultural space in SĂŁo Paulo that mixes online content with face-to-face activities. For 30 days, courses on the app will be available free of charge to those at home. The video classes include courses focused on culture and knowledge about fine arts, literature, philosophy, among other similar topics.

Free access has been available since March 18, 2020. The app is available for Android or iPhone (iOS) phones, and offers master classes, collections and even space for conversation between professionals and teachers. All content is available in Portuguese.

The Coursera app offers free online courses created by more than 100 universities around the world. The idea of ​​the platform, during home isolation to combat the coronavirus, is to provide free access to its catalog of courses from institutions impacted by the pandemic. The gallery has more than 3,000 courses and 400 specializations, and will be available free until September 30th. The video classes cover a variety of subjects such as technology, health, arts and other topics. Faculty members are the primary target audience of the initiative. The application can be downloaded on Android and iPhone (iOS) devices.
