Europe low volume to music players

MP3 players are used by 38 percent of Portuguese between 15 and 64 years of age, residing in Mainland Portugal, according to Marktest data obtained for the month of September.

Focusing the analysis on the gender variable, it appears that it is men (41%) who most claim to have an MP3 player, when compared to female individuals (35%).

The age variable also shows differences with regard to the possession of this type of gadget, most popular among young people in the 15 to 24 age group (62%). This indicator reaches lower values ​​among older people (55/64 years old), with only 11 percent of them claiming to have an MP3 player.

Grande Porto (44%) and Grande Lisboa (42%) are the regions with the most owners of digital music players.
