The third edition of Portugal Tecnológico ended on Sunday at the Lisbon International Fair, a showcase of Portuguese technology that aims to promote national innovation and tries to captivate new markets and new investors, namely international ones.
In this 2010 edition, the event welcomed 36 thousand visitors, who had the opportunity to contact the proposals of more than 350 companies, distributed by just over 220 exhibitors, where several State services and organizations were also present.
Delegations from countries such as the United States, Canada, China, Brazil, Russia, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Algeria were received in the space, according to data from the organization.
These visitors, as well as the others, were able to contact the projects shown in areas such as Mobility, Energy and Administrative Modernization, three of the areas with a prominent place in the exhibition.
An Energy Square, showing and allowing to experience environmentally friendly transport, a Lan Party during the weekend and a parallel program of conferences animated the five days of exhibition divided by three of the four FIL pavilions.
In 2009, 23 thousand visitors passed through Portugal Tecnológico.
