The third edition of the European eGov awards, promoted by the European Union, will evaluate 311 applications from 32 countries. The delivery of awards this year will take place in Portugal during the annual ministerial conference.
During the event, which takes place next September, the winners will be announced and the 52 finalist projects will be shown. Voting for the most innovative practices takes place between 16 July and 15 September.
The final ceremony is scheduled for September 19, when those who are considered to be the best projects in the four areas will be known: best public service for growth and jobs; participation and transparency; social impact and cohesion and efficient and effective administration.
It should be recalled that the public procurement pilot project in Portugal was distinguished in 2005 with the prize for good practices.
