Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter will be available in early 2009

Apple's decision to implement Mini DisplayPort as the only video output method on its new notebooks has displeased many users, especially those who would like to connect their new MacBooks to Full HD TV sets, via an HDMI input, as the But – at least so far – adapters are only available for connections of the VGA, DVI or Dual-Link DVI type.

Everything indicates, however, that the wait for those who want to see their desktop in brilliant 32 inches of high definition is ending. California-based cable and adapter manufacturer Monoprice, promises, by the end of January 2009, to start selling its Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Prices, however, have not yet been reported.
