We learned a lot while monitoring price fluctuations for iOS / Mac apps this year, so we decided to prepare a summary containing the most interesting data collected in 2014. For example, 25% of paid apps were free (for some period) this year . And paid apps have changed their prices, on average, 4.7 times.
Other interesting data shared by Apple Sliced: the Monument Valley game was the most desired based on the total price alerts set by users. The great 1Password (I never get tired of recommending this app) was the app that received the most positive votes, while the Game of War – Fire Age game received the most negative votes (despite being a critical success on the App Store, with 4.5 stars out of 5).
