The 8th generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon notebooks and the 5th generation ThinkPad X1 Yoga are now available for purchase on Lenovo's official website. With a price starting at 1,549 euros, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a notebook designed for executives. The equipment weighs just over 1 kg, integrating an FHD screen with 400 nits of brightness and the Dolby Atmos sound system.
As for the battery, the company guarantees an autonomy of up to 18 hours and also has a system of quick start feature, which allows to switch from standby mode to internet browsing in a second.
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga of 5. already generates a "hybrid" between laptop and tablet, through the 360 ??hinge. This model is more expensive than the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, being available from 1,719 euros.
With a weight of 1.35 kg, the equipment includes a 14 inch FHD screen with 400 nits of brightness, in addition to the same sound system and the same battery life as the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Also worth mentioning are the two thunderbolt ports, two USB 3.1 type A ports and an HDMI output.
Both models are protected by Lenovo's branded ThinkShield cybersecurity solutions. This system allows, for example, that the two ThinkPad X1 laptops can include the ThinkPad PrivacyGuard, which protects the screen against "prying eyes".
