How to use Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 on your computer | Internet

1.1.1.1 is the address of the new Cloudflare DNS server that promises to speed up the opening of websites in the browser. Compared to Google and Cisco solutions, the company offers more speed to open web pages on the PC. In addition, it promises to discard user histories every 24 hours, maintaining the confidentiality of the sites visited. The service is free, but requires manual adjustment on the computer to start using. See in the tutorial how to configure Windows to connect to the Internet using Cloudflare's DNS and make browsing faster.

DNS is a service that works as a translator of website names and IPs. When typing www.techtudo.com.br in the address bar, the DNS server configured on the device is responsible for finding the server that corresponds to the requested page. The faster the server works, the faster the site opens.

Despite the advantage offered by faster DNS servers, few users exchange the service that comes configured on the PC and on the cell phone. It is usual for the Internet service provider to leave their server activated by default. to which alternatives like OpenDNS, by Cisco, and Public DNS, by Google, come in. Now, Cloudflare is a promising third way that promises more data speed and privacy. See how to configure the service on the Windows 10 PC.
