Agibank: how to pay bills by cell phone | Digital benches

The virtual bank Agibank allows you to pay your electricity bill, telephone, internet and other bank bills by cell phone. The feature can be used by anyone with an active account on the rival Nubank service. In addition to this modality, the app also allows you to send money to individuals, groups or companies via TED, Agipag and contact details.

How to invite friends to Agibank

Step 1. After creating your Agibank account, open the app and tap the "Pay" button, available on the main screen. There are five payment methods. For this tutorial, we selected the option "Boleto".

Step 2. Place the barcode under the red line and wait for the data to be identified. If not, tap the "Enter barcode" button.

Step 3. Enter the numeric sequence of the barcode without the characters (the app inserts the dots automatically) and press "Continue". Check the amount, payment date and name of the company or person who will receive the payment. Enter a description (such as "Electric bill") and then tap the green button with an arrow.

Step 4. The app will display an operation confirmation box. If the user has no balance available in his current account, payment will be made with the pre-approved limit, of which interest of 14.99% will be charged after 5 days. Press "Yes" to have the app show a graph with your account summary after the transaction. Then, tap "Continue".

Step 5. The application will ask you to enter the four-digit password created when opening the account. Once this is done, the Agibank application will show a completed transaction message and proof of payment.
