Stage of its music festivals, London Roundhouse is being renewed by Apple

Apple shouldn't pay cheap to use the Roundhouse of London for its music festivals. But her relationship with the place is already so great that, for this year's Apple Music Festival, she also decided to make a renovation there.

Lisa P. Jackson, vice president of environmental, political and social initiatives at Apple, yesterday posted a tweet directing users to the event's FAQ page.

Among the various questions, there is this one:

Is the Roundhouse being well looked after?

You can believe so. To show our concern for the place, we are carrying out an environmental reform in the 168-year-old building. We are improving the lighting, plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning system. We also took care of installing recycling and composting containers, transforming cooking oil into fuel, purchasing renewable energy credits to cover Roundhouse's electricity use during September; and offering water bottles made of reusable material instead of plastic. We hope that these measures will reduce annual carbon emissions by 60 tonnes, save 60,000 gallons of water a year, and allow more than 1,600 kilograms of waste to be reused.

Money for that kind of thing that Apple does not lack
