As we have already informed, we are in Miami to cover the launch of the iPhone 6s.
Here, there are three Apple stores: Dadeland, The Falls and Lincoln Road. Undoubtedly, the latter is the most famous in the region, as it is located in a quite touristic spot. Because in it we will focus our coverage.
The Apple Retail Store has recently undergone a beautiful makeover. The old one was on the same street, but the new one, in addition to having moved to a larger space, gained a beautiful facade of stones / glass and a very wide interior, with two spaces (one for interaction with products / customer service and another for the sale of accessories).
The new iPhones will be launched tomorrow and the store will open at 8 am so customers can buy the device. There will be two lines: one for people with reservations (we, for example, have reservations) and another for those who have not planned but still want to buy a device (in our last count, there were about 45 people there).
The store itself will only open to the public at 10 am, that is, from 8 am only those who really want to buy an iPhone 6s will enter.
We bought the devices in the pre-order to receive them at the address we are at, but we also made reservations at the store to guarantee it. Thus, we will be on Lincoln Road early in the morning to follow this ?mess? closely.
And you, who are also putting in the world in some line / Apple store to buy your iPhone, can also participate in our coverage. To do that, just publish an image on Instagram with the hashtag # iPhone6snoMM. So we can identify everything
Rob in Sydney
Speaking of queues, the Apple Store, Sydney (we went to it for the iPhone 6 launch) this year won a member at least different: a rob, as informed by the Mashable.
Australian Lucy Kelly, who works as a marketing manager at the Atomic 212 agency, wanted to be one of the first to acquire the phone but had no way of standing in line for work. So she had the idea of ??using one of the robots (from Double Robotics) that she has at work that is even used in meetings when someone is traveling, for example.
To endure the line, Lucy had a tent (it rained a lot there) and an outlet to keep from running out of energy.
Lucy's idea was to buy the iPhone 6s using the robot. Did she succeed?
