Check out updated Apple Brazil prices for January 2009, including the new MacBook Pro 17 ″ unibody

Apple Brazil is already publishing prices for its new products, updated according to the new dollar quotation average. Its table is not imposed on accredited networks, but only suggested prices, according to a reliable source from MacMagazine.

MacBook Pro and LED Cinema Display

The current MacBooks (in both white and black colors) models MB402LL / A, MB403LL / A and MB404LL / A have had no increase or decrease in prices due to the increase in the dollar. They continue to be sold for R $ 3,000, R $ 3,500 and R $ 4,000, as they will be discontinued as soon as stocks of their last shipments to Brazil run out.

The new ones will come with updated prices according to the dollar, including the new white model, that is, the only classic plastic model, which will remain on sale in 2009. They will soon arrive in the country for a higher price than the current ones, that is, it is worth buying a MacBook of the old model, for the lowest price. The new classic white MacBook (model MB402BZ / B, with 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 120GB of disk and SuperDrive) costs R $ 3,800.

Note that the new serial numbers of products sold in Brazil are finalized by the letters BZ, instead of LL, as in the past. Apple now works with three divisions for Latin America: Mexico, Brazil and other Latin American countries.

This may mean that there are lots of products distributed exclusively to Brazil, which can be the first step towards special care in Brazilian lands. Manuals in Portuguese already come with new machines, and the novelty may bring even more benefits to us, since we are no longer treated in a single cake ?Amrica Latina? nationalized keyboard, who knows?
