After the different teasings, showing gradually its new smartphone, LG officially presented Velvet, in South Korea. Its design was already known, when the manufacturer showed a video to highlight its curved sides, the built-in camera on the screen and the colors of the models that will reach the market.
The LG Velvet presents itself as a mid-range solution, which should be launched in the western market in late May, in four colors: orange, green, black and white. For now, it is available on the Korean market for around 700 dollars, according to The Verge.
Regarding specifications, the LG Velvet powered by Snapdragon 765G processor, which gives the smartphone 5G support, has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Its 6.8-inch OLED screen houses the biometric fingerprint sensor and a small central notch for the front camera. It is said that the model supports the brand's stylus, as well as its cover accessory that adds an extra screen. The smartphone is also IP68 certified, ie water and dust resistant.
The equipment has a triple camera system, with a main sensor of 48 MP, an ultra wide angle of 8 MP and a depth sensor of 5 MP. The 16 MP selfie camera. The smartphone is also powered by a 4,300 mAh battery, supporting fast charging and also wireless.
