Apple will broadcast WWDC20 from June 22nd in a free online event

For this year, WWDC20 will take place over the internet and interested developers can follow the event through the Apple Developer website or application.

THE Apple confirmed last Tuesday (5) new details of the Worldwide Developers Conference 2020 (WWDC20). Due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the event will take place virtually from June 22, that is, later. The broadcast will be free for all developers through the website Apple Developer and the official event app.

In its 31st edition, the Apple points out that the WWDC20 be an opportunity for developers from all over the world to get to know the innovations of the systems iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. In addition, with the engineers of Apple, they will be able to design new applications for the company's customers.

WWDC20 will be the largest we have ever done and will bring together our entire developer community, which has more than 23 million people from all over the world, in a way never seen, for a week, in June, to know the future of the platforms from Apple.

Apple Challenge – Swift Student Challenge at WWDC20

THE Apple also announced the challenge Swift Student Challenge, which gives the novice developer (students) the opportunity to create their own Swift Playground. With the application Swift Playgrounds, the user can learn more about programming Swift in a playful and interactive way.

Interested parties can register until 23:59 on 17 May. As explained by Apple, students from any country can participate and, on the official website, you can find all the rules for participation. In addition to participating, Apple informed that the winners of this edition will receive a jacket and a set of official buttons from the WWDC20.

Students are an integral part of the Apple developer community. Last year, WWDC20 was attended by more than 350 program students from 37 different countries. We look forward to WWDC 2020, and while our meeting is virtual this year, we want to recognize and celebrate the creative contributions of young developers around the world.
