Rumors have been circulating for some time that Lenovo is preparing to expand the Legion portfolio, known for computers and laptops aimed at gamers, to the smartphone market. In December 2019, mysterious details about the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone appeared on a page that the manufacturer created on the Chinese social network Weibo. Now there are new rumors that show the appearance and some specifications of the Lenovo smartphone.
According to the XDA-Developers portal, which received information from a source with knowledge about the Chinese manufacturer's project, the Lenovo Legion can count on a 5,000 mAh battery with the possibility of fast wireless charging at 90 W. the portal had access also reveal that, in terms of appearance, the smartphone features the well-known Y-shaped design of the Legion line equipment at the rear.
Inside, the new Lenovo Legion may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 internal memory. The information also indicates that the smartphone will have an AMOLED screen with a Full HD + resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and Touch Sampling of 270 Hz.
Apparently, the Lenovo Legion will have two cameras, one 64 MP and the other 16 MP, centered on the back of the smartphone. The front camera, 20 MP, is not in a notch or punch hole, presenting a pop-up configuration on the side of the equipment.
Lenovo itself has been leaving some clues about the new bet on the gaming smartphone market. In April, the manufacturer published on its page on the social network Weibo some posters that highlight the fast wireless charging at 90 W, the screen without notch and the fact that the USB-C input of the smartphone is on the side, allowing charging while the user continues to play with the device horizontally.
