By the beginning of February, Tesla had already hired more than 150 Apple employees. But the reverse has also been the case with strength, even reaching senior engineer Jamie Carlson. A recent report even pointed out that, of the more than 1,000 professionals already working on Apple's "Project Titan", many came from Tesla and even left a "hole" there.
A few months ago Elon Musk he was even positive about the rumors of an Apple car, but now he has shown that he is very upset about it all. In an interview with the German newspaper Handelsblatt, Musk called Apple a "Tesla cemetery".
?Important engineers? They hired the people we fired, ?said Musk. ?If you can't stay at Tesla, you're going to work at Apple. I'm not kidding. ? In other words, Musk means that the hundreds of professionals who left Tesla for Apple have all been dismissed and, for him, are bad professionals.
The eccentric executive still went on, implying that Apple wouldn't know exactly where he was going: ?No, seriously. It is good that Apple is moving and investing in this direction. But cars are very complex when compared to phones or smartwatches. ?
If there was still a chance that Apple could buy Tesla in the future, I think Musk just evaporated it.
As I have already commented on discussions about these rumors, especially on our podcast, I don't think Apple's recent successful history gives any kind of certainty that it will get this car right. But it seems that more than 1,000 people working on the project (including experts like Doug Betts, who was senior vice president of quality at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) do not know what a lot of audiences are doing.

Faced with all the controversy, Musk decided to comment on Twitter:
Yo, I don't hate Apple. It's a great company with a lot of talented people. I love their products and I'm glad they're doing an EV.

Hey, I don't hate Apple. a great company with many talented people. I love their products and I am happy that they are creating one (electric vehicle).
But what has been said cannot be erased. It is curious that Musk takes the rumor of an Apple car for granted, even if the indications are very strong.
