In addition to App of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is only $ 3. The title selected this time was Rapture-Palooza, with Craig Robinson and Anna Kendrick.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
The Apocalypse is not exactly a happy idea, but in this scenario on which the tragicomedy Rapture-Palooza is based. Inspired by the biblical story, the feature begins with the Rapture, when 1 billion people are taken to the sky. But the couple Lindsey (Anna Kendrick) and Ben (John Francis Daley) are among those who remain on Earth, therefore, subject to tribulations: a day to day filled with blood rain, talking locusts and smoke storms. The routine of the two changes when they gain an unusual neighbor the Antichrist in the flesh, lived by actor Craig Robinson, who falls in love with Lindsey and will not measure efforts to be with her. Fun and frivolous, the film has no pretensions other than making you distracted, laugh and forget a little about everyday problems.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, was also willing to send us a personalized comment about the film:
O Movie of the week reminds me of several others of the genre, such as Endiabrado. Not to be unfair, the idea is good, but everything else is very vague and not even your cast saves the production. I recommend many other films of the protagonist, one of them Love Without Scales and also the franchise The Perfect Choice that has been successful in the USA.
