Apple releases new betas for iOS 8.3, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 and Xcode 6.3 for developers [atualizado: Siri em português!!]

Apple has just released the second beta versions of iOS 8.3 (build 12F5037c), from OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 (compilation 14D87h) and Xcode 6.3 (build 6D532l, with Swift 1.2) for developers.

Right away, an excellent and long awaited novelty for Brazilians: the Siri is now available in Portuguese!!

In addition to our language, MacRumors found that Siri also started to speak Danish, Dutch, English variations for India and New Zealand, Russian, Swedish, Thai and Turkish.

Both iOS 8.3 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 will come with more than 300 new Emojis like these (many betting on ethnic diversity, something that was already foreseen):

There are also several new flags, including the one from Brazil, as well as an Apple Watch icon.

Yosemite 10.10.3 will also bring improvements in stability, compatibility and security. Its great news is the Photos app (Photos), already spoken here on the site. His build jumped from 203.38.0 to 205.34.0 in this new beta, which indicates that the new application should be even more complete and "round".

The expectation is that iOS 8.3 will win a public beta (the first in the history of Apple's mobile operating system) next month. For now, it is only available through the iOS Dev Center.

Apple today also released a new build testing software Apple TVs, but without giving details about it.

Another ?novelty? that came in the first beta of iOS 8.3 and we had not yet commented was observed today by the reader Geraldo Tristo:

Choice of data network in iOS 8.3

This cell network type selection screen actually appeared on iOS 8.1, but until now it only worked on certain operators. With iOS 8.3, Apple looks like it will release it to all users at once.

Great especially when you want to disable 4G, but continue with 3G. Or else use only the GPRS (or EDGE?) Network, in a place with poor coverage.

You asked, here is a video demonstration of Siri in Portuguese:

Collaboration: Murilo Medeiros.

As you can see, she is still a bit "buggy" and her voice is not very natural. But considering that before iOS 8.3 it still probably comes out in the month that iOS 8.2 comes, there is a good road ahead for Apple to make it cooler before the official launch for the general public.

The important thing that now goes! O/
