How to convert the format of a video using Adobe Premiere | Editing and creation

Step 2. Find the video you want to convert on your computer and confirm with "Open". In this example, we use an average in MP4;

Step 3. The video will appear in the "Projects" tab. Then, you need to drag the content onto the timeline, usually located to the right of the screen. Note that the video appears in the preview at the top. Remember that the location of each window can change according to the layout chosen by you on your PC. In this test, the standard Premiere layout was used, with no customization;

Step 4. Now, to convert the document to another format, go back to "File" and select "Export". In the menu that opens next, access the option "Media";

Step 5. A new tab will be opened for exporting the video, that is, saving it in the new format. To do this, find the "Format" item and click to see all compatible types. In this test we will use AVI;

Step 6. Under "Default" select "Custom". Then find the "Video" tab and customize the settings. In "Video codec" select "None". This configuration is necessary for everything to go well and the final file is in the same dimensions as the original video. To adjust in a simplified way, find the "Source Scale" tab, on the top left, and select "Change output size in correspondence with the source". Confirm in "Export".

Step 7. Now just wait. The result will be saved with a new video format. Note that the first test was in MP4 and the second video is in AVI.
