Step 1. Access the extension page to download it. In the Chrome Web Store, select the option "Use in Chrome" in the upper right corner of the open window;

Step 2. Then, a dialog box will open in the browser. Confirm the installation by clicking on "Add extension";

Step 3. After installing the extension, you will see the Windows Defender Browser Protection icon in the upper right corner of the window, next to the Chrome address bar. This indicates that the application is installed and working correctly in your browser;

Step 4. If the Microsoft plugin is blocking access to a legitimate website, you can temporarily disable protection. To do this, just click on the extension cone and turn the key shown in the image. Remember to activate it again later so you don't take any risks.
