Mac #FAIL: “shadows” at the bottom of the MacBook Pro display

The reader Nuno Bianchi one more that collaborates with our series Mac #FAIL, this time showing a different defect on the screen of your MacBook Pro model Early 2008, 15-inch, with a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, 200GB hard drive and 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video card.

He tells us that the bug only presents itself with the machine disconnected from the power and regardless of what it is doing. "The fuck that this _never_ happens when I'm with my Mac in technical assistance, of course", jokes Nuno, irritated at the same time. Furthermore, he says that, from time to time, when disconnecting the MagSafe cable, the screen goes into standby immediately (stays with the programs running, but does not turn on) and only works again by restarting the MBP.

I must say that I did not expect this series of posts to be so busy. Are we really living in times of dubious quality in Apple products? Where's all that "no headache" guarantee when buying a Mac?
