Looke is a Brazilian platform for streaming movies and series rivaling Netflix. Unlike the most famous competitor, the service brings content by subscription and on demand, with digital purchase and rental of titles with a wide variety of options and prices. Looke is available in an application for Android and iPhone (iOS), and on the PC via the web version for broadband customers Tim Live in the 500 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB packages, in So Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Step 1. The home screen organizes the catalog in a similar way to Netflix, with various content carousis. To navigate between the options, just move the mouse at the ends of each track.

Step 2. Looke has two navigation screens depending on the type of consumption. On the Online Store page, the service shows the most recent releases and films available for purchase or rental. To purchase the title with the credit card, the user only needs to have an active free account on the platform. To do this, open a video and choose between Rent and Buy, in the top bar of the window.

Step 3. In the Video Club option there are titles that active subscribers can watch freely, with no reproduction limit. By opening a video, Looke shows that it is possible to watch without paying anything. In any of the three subscription plans there are seven free trial days.

Step 4. Also similar to Netflix, Looke has a separate Kids platform with titles aimed at children. In this view, only free-rated animations and movies will be shown.

The Looke video player is simple. In addition to play and pause control, it offers an easy language manager for audio and subtitles. Chromecast users can also stream content from the site directly to a TV with the Google device connected.

Looke was the first streaming platform to offer video downloads to watch offline, before Netflix. To use the feature I need to open the website with Internet Explorer and click on Offline Videos in the account menu. After downloading a Looke player, just play any video to get a version.
