I see nowadays that people want to turn all screens into touchscreens (touch sensitive), but I can say knowing that working several hours on a vertical touchscreen would not be well accepted for a long time. This is not at all practical, my arm gets tired, ergonomically incorrect and it goes on? I say this because I had to paint on canvas or paper vertically and I know how exhausting it is.
Thinking like this, I decided to develop this concept of a new iMac, which would make this whole story of touchscreen on an Apple computer a little more practical and acceptable. Everything in it would be ?touchable? and, of course, wireless mouse, keyboard and monitor could become tablets.
The screen (in the case of the iMac, the entire computer) would be fixed by magnetic points on an aluminum base and could be removed for better use, vertically or on the lap. One would choose to use a pen stylus, your own hand or both.
The whole set would consist of: Bluetooth Multi-Touch Mouse (battery powered), stylus stylus, Computer / Multi-Touch Monitor (rechargeable battery), support base (with pen holder) and Bluetooth Multi-Touch Keyboard (rechargeable battery).
The entire keyboard would be a touchscreen, configurable in several ways. It could be used as a conventional keyboard, tablet, trackpad or even a mix of all. As it is a display, it would allow the use of several keyboard layouts and several skins (skins) personalized.
All cable ports would be in a position that would never hinder the use of the machine, either vertically or horizontally.
I hope that one day we will be able to see a launch like this.
